{"id":4314,"date":"2024-11-06T22:34:29","date_gmt":"2024-11-07T05:34:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.teachpi.org\/?p=1465"},"modified":"2024-11-07T00:53:17","modified_gmt":"2024-11-07T07:53:17","slug":"happy-monday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.ecodinghub.in\/teachpi\/blog\/happy-monday\/","title":{"rendered":"A Verrry Long Weekend Is Over!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pals in Pi,<\/p>\n<p>Happy Monday!\u00a0 In the good old days, I would always root for Pi Day to fall on a weekday.\u00a0 The glow of the holiday shines brightest when teachers and students are together at school on the actual 3\/14 and the raucous revelry is uninhibited.<\/p>\n<p>And so perhaps it&#8217;s fitting that the last two Pi Days have fallen on a Saturday and a Sunday.\u00a0 For many of us, they&#8217;ve landed as silently as a leaf drifting down to a snowy forest floor.\u00a0 We&#8217;ve had much bigger things on our minds and hearts over the past two years, dating back, for many parts of the U.S., to a new way of life that began very suddenly on none other than March 14, 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Call it a Pi-atus, or a verrry long weekend, or whatever you like.\u00a0 It&#8217;s Monday, kids are back at school, and Pi Day is ready to play!<\/p>\n<p>So, just like any other activity that we&#8217;ve set aside for the\u00a0last couple years, we&#8217;re going to have to warm up our mathematical muscles before we can sprint again.\u00a0 Let this year&#8217;s Pi Day be part of that rediscovery and renewal, reminding all of us how great it feels to share something silly again.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s Monday&#8230; so get out there and celebrate! :-)<\/p>\n<p>Luke<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pals in Pi, Happy Monday!\u00a0 In the good old days, I would always root for Pi Day to fall on a weekday.\u00a0 The glow of the holiday shines brightest when teachers and students are together at school on the actual 3\/14 and the raucous revelry is uninhibited.
